Laura Hartman is the Kossman Lecturer at Penn State University's Department of Architecture for 2009-2010. She participated in thesis review in the Spring of 2009 and will be lecturing at the University April 7, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
The lecture is titled "Making, Mining, and Margins" and will reflect on practice (the work of Fernau & Hartman Architects), visual research (mining structures in Appalachia), and material explorations (art).
